⺠Some patients with pure alexia show partial access to lexical and semantic information. ⺠Bilingual patient with pure alexia and preserved language decision in reading. ⺠Plausibility of orthographic structure influenced lexical decision. ⺠Orthographic typicality affected language decision with meaningless trigrams. ⺠Sublexical orthographic processing may be selectively preserved in pure alexia.
