Abstract
⺠We examined the ERP responses in relation to face identity strength. ⺠P1, N170, and dorsal P2 were not related to face identity strength. ⺠Face identity strength affected the ventral P2 and the N250. ⺠Individual face recognition occurs in the brain after 230 ms.
