Abstract
⺠We examined neural activity during the preparation for voluntary action. ⺠We manipulated attention to the timing of movement initiation. ⺠Attention to action timing enhanced pre-movement activity at right frontal regions. ⺠Relatively unattended movements had little early pre-movement activity. ⺠Attention to time is important for early neural activity of the readiness potential.
