Abstract
► We devised a new paradigm to demonstrate implicit learning of perceptual categories. ► We were able to rule out the contribution of explicit memory in category learning. ► We observed category-specific behavioral modifications people were unaware of. ► Both normal controls and amnesic people were able to solve the learning task.
