Abstract
▶ Psychosis-prone subjects showed greater activity in anterior prefrontal cortex during mentalizing. ▶ Further regions of greater activity in high PP included dorsomedial/lateral prefrontal areas. ▶ Thus, high PP subjects required increased prefrontal activation to adequately mentalize. ▶ Differences in mentalizing neurocircuitry may be associated with psychosis vulnerability.
