Abstract
ⶠIndividuals with ADHD show reduced brain activation in the rLPFC, as compared to controls during the inhibition over memory retrieval. ⶠReductions of rLPFC were associated with increased brain activation in posterior regions supporting memory in individuals with ADHD, but not control individuals. ⶠReductions in the ability to inhibit memory retrieval were also associated with longer SSRT in individuals with ADHD, indicating an association between inhibitory control in the domains of memory and motor.
