Abstract
⺠aMCI have difficulty remembering object-location associations vs. healthy elderly. ⺠fMRI revealed widespread activity reductions not limited to the hippocampus in aMCI. ⺠Correlation maps suggest aMCI rely on the sensory and motor aspects of objects. ⺠aMCI rely on encoding mechanisms that differ substantially from healthy elderly.
