Abstract
⺠Two versions of a new CPT which minimizes non-attentional components were investigated. ⺠We established that the new task is a valid measure of sustained attention. ⺠High convergent and divergent validity were obtained for the new task. ⺠Independent of sensory modality the CCPT taps the same stable construct - sustained attention. ⺠The CCPT is a constructive tool to assess attention deficits.
