Abstract
⺠This study identified brain regions involved in auditory/visual imagery and retrieval. ⺠Auditory and visual sensory regions contributed to imagery and retrieval in a modality-specific fashion. ⺠Hippocampus and default-mode regions contributed to imagery and retrieval in a modality-independent fashion.
