Abstract
⸠Results do not support Valence Hypothesis of emotional lateralization. ⸠Results support the Right Hemisphere hypothesis of emotional lateralization. ⸠Results also support the Emotion Type hypothesis of emotional lateralization. ⸠Aging impairs the ability to comprehend primary but not social emotional stimuli. ⸠Minor sex effects are observed related to specific emotional stimuli.
