Abstract
⸠Attitude evaluations and autobiographical retrievals elicit a parietal EM effect. ⸠Semantic evaluations of attitude items elicit a different pattern of ERP activity. ⸠Hence, representations used in attitude evaluations are stored in episodic memory. ⸠Retrieval timing is different in evaluation and memory tasks. ⸠Unlike memory tasks, evaluations show early retrieval and post-retrieval processing.
