Abstract
⸠Dichotic tasks allow for the study of hemispheric difference in meaning comprehension. ⸠Cooperative hemispheric strategies supporting comprehension are not modality specific. ⸠Even with speech the right hemisphere shows sustained access for subordinate meanings. ⸠Evidence that the right hemisphere plays a direct role in semantic comprehension.
