Abstract
⸠Neural correlates of language comprehension in ASD depend on nature of context. ⸠No difference between ASD and control group for sentences with semantic anomalies. ⸠Differences in brain activation in IFG for sentences with world knowledge anomalies. ⸠Reduced LIFG activation in ASD points to reduced integrative capacities. ⸠Lack of RIFG activation in ASD suggests difficulties with exception handling.
