Abstract
▸ Many studies showed neglect recovery after prism adaptation (PA); other did not. ▸ This apparent contradiction depends on the different procedures used for treatment. ▸ PA with terminal (TPA) exposure recalibrates eye-hand coordinates. ▸ PA with concurrent exposure (CPA) realigns proprioceptive coordinates. ▸ We show that TPA is more effective than CPA for neglect recovery and explain why.
