Abstract
⸠The perceived locations on the skin of touch, heat, and pain all show a common, systematic pattern of distortions. ⸠Localization biases are largely independent of the modality of the sensory input. ⸠Localization of somatosensory stimuli may depend on a supramodal representation of the body surface.
