Abstract
⸠Does the grasping system combine binocular and monocular cues to reduce uncertainty? ⸠Measured grasping with binocular or monocular cues removed (uncertainty matched). ⸠Perceptual uncertainty, not cue type, determined changes in grasping performance. ⸠No evidence for a special role for binocular cues in grasp programming. ⸠The visuo-motor system integrates binocular and monocular cues to improve grasping.
