Abstract
▸ Does redundancy gain (RG) rely critically on the basal ganglia (BG)? ▸ Participants included 20 with mild-moderate Parkinson's disease and 20 controls. ▸ We found virtually no differences in RG between groups. ▸ Follow-up analyses support the lack of RG difference between groups. ▸ We conclude that normal RG effects are not likely to rely critically on the BG.
