Abstract
⸠In rapid movement sequences visual attention pre-selects subsequent goals. ⸠If sequence production is slow movements are stepwise prepared. ⸠The distribution of visual attention indicates whether movements are chunked or not. ⸠Inter-reach delays of about 400 ms seem to be critical for the chunking of movements. ⸠Without visual landmarks subsequent goals are preselected regardless of sequence speed.
