Abstract
⺠Humans create internal visual memory snapshots of the environment. ⺠The snapshots can be scanned for relevant information. ⺠We show that the eyes curve away from locations selected from such snapshots. ⺠Selection from memory is very similar to selection from the outside world. ⺠Both types of selection are coded in the oculomotor system.
