Abstract
⺠Visual short-term memory for lateralized stimuli was investigated using fNIRS. ⺠Hemodynamic activity in IPS/IOS cortical regions was influenced by memory load. ⺠Load-related responses in IPS/IOS regions did not differ contralaterally and ipsilaterally. ⺠Hemodynamic and electroencephalographic variations in IPS/IOS are dissociable.
