Abstract
⺠We conducted an EEG study on non-symbolic magnitude comparison in children. ⺠We focused on numerical distance effects in ERP amplitudes and current source activity. ⺠Parietal positive going ERPs showed effects of distance for all numerical ranges. ⺠Domain-specific parietal cortex regions were recruited across all number ranges. ⺠Mediating domain-general functions were involved differentially depending on set size.
