Abstract
⺠Patients with PD had impaired facial emotion recognition for fear and anger, and exhibited reduced face inversion effect for these emotions, when compared to the HC group. ⺠PD affects an individual's ability to process vertical second-order information. ⺠Negative emotion recognition and configural processing were positively correlated.
