Abstract
⺠Impaired attention may be a marker for core deficits in developmental dyslexia. ⺠We applied a mathematically specified, parametric theory of visual attention. ⺠Dyslexics showed reduced processing speed while working memory capacity was normal. ⺠Spatial deviation in dyslexics is in line with a previously suggested mini-neglect. ⺠The parametric assessment proved sensitive even in milder dyslexic impairments.
