Abstract
ⶠAdolescent anorexia nervosa patients presented increased brain activation in temporal and parietal areas, especially in the temporal gyrus, during a working memory task. ⶠBrain activation correlated with clinical variables such as body mass index and depressive symptoms. ⶠThe pattern of brain hyperactivation was not seen at follow-up after weight recovery.
