Abstract
ⶠBehavioral and electrophysiological evidence that reading disorders relate to sluggish attention shifting in both the visual and auditory modalities. ⶠEvidence for a link between sluggish attention shifting and degraded amodal perceptual integration of rapid stimulus sequences. ⶠCorrelation of auditory and visual rapid sequential skills suggesting an amodal pool of resources necessary for phonological and decoding skills.
