Abstract
												â¶ Recollection is impaired but familiarity is intact in PD under deep directed encoding. â¶ Familiarity is reduced in PD under shallow non-directed encoding but not recollection. â¶ Deep encoding improved recollection in controls and familiarity in PD patients. â¶ Memory deficits in PD involve poor instantiation of strategies and impaired recollection.
