Abstract
ⶠAmygdala neuropathology is common in developmental and psychiatric disorders. ⶠAbnormal social behavior and anxiety are common in neurodevelopmental disorders. ⶠThe amygdala modulates social behavior via its primary role in danger detection. ⶠCharacterization of amygdala pathology changes with age throughout development.
