Abstract
â¶ Amygdala neuropathology is common in developmental and psychiatric disorders. â¶ Abnormal social behavior and anxiety are common in neurodevelopmental disorders. â¶ The amygdala modulates social behavior via its primary role in danger detection. â¶ Characterization of amygdala pathology changes with age throughout development.
