Abstract
ⶠAnosognosia for Hemiplegia (AHP) involves defective sensorimotor comparisons. ⶠLarge motor errors involving the unaffected arm are not consciously detected in AHP. ⶠErrors involving the unaffected arm are corrected without conscious awareness in AHP. ⶠHigh (conscious) and low (non-conscious) level motor awareness may dissociate in AHP. ⶠMotor awareness for both arms might involve a shared right-hemisphere mechanism.
