Abstract
▶ Participants were given opportunities to decide whether they would change their initial choice (i.e., action) or not (i.e., inaction). ▶ ERP results demonstrated that action may increase the expectancy towards the outcome and/or the motivational/emotional significance of the outcome. ▶ This action effect can be found in both FRN and the P300, with larger differential responses to the win and the loss feedback following action than following inaction.
