Abstract
ⶠParticipants were given opportunities to decide whether they would change their initial choice (i.e., action) or not (i.e., inaction). ⶠERP results demonstrated that action may increase the expectancy towards the outcome and/or the motivational/emotional significance of the outcome. ⶠThis action effect can be found in both FRN and the P300, with larger differential responses to the win and the loss feedback following action than following inaction.
