Abstract
ⶠThe study revealed a strong relationship between a magnocellular deficit and dyslexia in Chinese. ⶠBehavioural and ERP experiments were conducted with Chinese dyslexic and control children. ⶠPerformance from dyslexic and two control (age and reading level matched) children were compared. ⶠThe dyslexics were significantly slower to respond to the critical targets than the controls. ⶠvMMN (ERP) patterns of the dyslexics were significantly different from those of the controls.
