Abstract
⺠Affective forecasting about transgressions showed an overestimation level bias. ⺠However, individuals correctly forecast that perpetrators would feel worse than victims. ⺠Empathic forecasts also revealed an overestimation bias. ⺠Moreover, a role bias (victim versus perpetrator) was evident for empathic forecasts.
