Abstract
⺠Greater admiration is felt for a group with legitimate status. ⺠Greater admiration is felt for warm and competent groups. ⺠Admiration for powerful groups is associated with hierarchy-maintaining behaviors. ⺠Admiration for “subversive” groups is associated with hierarchy-challenging behaviors. ⺠Admiration towards an outgroup inhibits hierarchy-maintaining behaviors.
