Abstract
⺠Draws together the qualitative research conducted with patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD). ⺠knowledge about the experience of living with AMD which can help to better understand the needs of patients. ⺠Provides support for holistic approaches to service provision which acknowledge unique experiences of older patients. ⺠Advises developing services to reduce stigma, increase social engagement, and develop psychological resources of patients.
