⺠More than 95% of these participants lived within 500 m of a fast food outlet. ⺠South Asian women had greater access to all food stores including fast food outlets than non South Asian women. ⺠Contrary to the obesogenic model, there was a negative association between obesity and fast food outlet density in the South Asian group.
