Abstract
⺠This paper pays attention to the health inequalities from an ethnographic standpoint based on a phenomenological approach. ⺠The embodiment of health inequities in the Spanish context under study is strongly embedded in the gender relationships. ⺠Engagement in the labour market is an ontological condition that is essential for negotiation/redefining of gender identities.
