Abstract
⺠Explains the sociocultural pattern of underlying problems and precipitating factors for suicide based on interviews with family survivors. âºÂ Explains the role of psychological and social stressors identified with suicide in an urban slum. ⺠Compares survivor accounts of closest relatives and more distant relationships. ⺠Distinguishes group attribution of reasons for suicide from case-based agreement.
