Abstract
⺠Examined impact of macroeconomic factors on smoking among construction workers. ⺠Antismoking sentiments reduced associations of cigarette prices with smoking. ⺠Employed workers' smoking status was more susceptible to macroeconomic factors. ⺠Predictors had more influence on number of cigarettes than on smoking status.
