Abstract
⺠Overall, a key aspect of social participation for adults with disabilities varies geographically and is influenced by area economic conditions. âºÂ Employment for persons with SCI is more likely in socioeconomically advantaged areas and in areas that are categorized as suburban versus urban. ⺠Geographic variation in employment was relatively unaffected by individual-level differences in health and functioning and modestly attenuated by educational attainment.
