Abstract
⺠We present recent epidemiology of late- depression among Korean elderly. ⺠Most risk factors except lower weight were consistent with reports from Western countries. ⺠Depressive symptoms in elderly are associated with less frequent receipt of screening chronic diseases. ⺠This missed screening opportunity can lead to the development of medical comorbidities of late-life depression.
