Abstract
⺠Examines food insecurity and depression among people living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. ⺠The effect was statistically significant and large in magnitude among women (not men). ⺠Social support buffered the adverse impacts of food insecurity. ⺠Instrumental social support had a greater buffering effect than emotional social support.
