Abstract
⺠UK general population respondents were receptive to the thought of adapting to rheumatoid arthritis over time. ⺠They increased their values for rheumatoid arthritis states after being informed about disease adaptation. ⺠Younger and healthier individuals were more likely to increase their values after undergoing an adaptation exercise. ⺠The results contribute to the emerging field of developing better informed general population values.
