Abstract
⺠Evolutionary model of the prisoner's dilemma game considering conformism. ⺠Conformity follows a signal process when the temptation to defect is low. ⺠Conformity follows a dual process when the temptation to defect is large. ⺠Proportion rather than group size is important for the evolution of cooperation. ⺠Explanation of why a higher-than-expected level of cooperation exists in real life.
