Abstract
⺠We transform genome sequence into sparse matrix in order-preserving manner (OPT). ⺠Based on singular value decomposition (SVD) of matrix, novel 16-D vectors were obtained. ⺠We analyzed the similarities among the multiple sequences from 20 eutherian species. ⺠Evolutionary relationships were investigated. ⺠The comparison results show that our approach (OPT-SVD) is valid and practicable.
