Abstract
⺠We model oil displacement and production in a water flooding reservoir. ⺠The influence of the viscosity ratio and the inter-well distance is investigated. ⺠Breakthrough time and oil production follow power laws of these parameters. ⺠The influence on the oil production of the numerical grid refinement is analyzed. ⺠The oil production rate follows a universal power law in percolation-like reservoirs.
