Abstract
⺠A mean field theory is used to estimate the persistence length and length per base of ssDNA. ⺠Three optimization methods are performed with the Monte Carlo method. ⺠The persistence length lp=2.223nm and the length per base ld=0.676nm are obtained. ⺠The obtained persistence length and length per base complement the current data of ssDNA.
