Abstract
⺠A microscopic lane changing process model (LCPM) is subtly presented. ⺠A new idea of simplifying the lane changing process to car-following framework is presented. ⺠Experimental observation is conducted and traffic parameters are extracted. ⺠LCPM is verified by comparing simulations and observations.
