Abstract
⺠We propose a modularity and improved genetic algorithm (MIGA). ⺠MIGA takes the modularity Q as the objective function. ⺠MIGA uses prior information: the number of community structures. ⺠MIGA takes the simulated annealing method as the local search method. ⺠Simulation results reflect the effectiveness of MIGA.
