Abstract
⺠We build a discrete choice agent-based model of innovators and imitators. ⺠Memory in agents' decisions is quantitatively stabilising but qualitatively destabilising. ⺠Higher strategy switching intensity leads to a bifurcation route to chaos. ⺠Such irregular behaviour emerges from complex minority game oscillations.
