Abstract
⺠We design a field experiment to measure some physical properties of sand drift. ⺠We study the relationship between the saltation events and these physical properties. ⺠We develop a numerical model to simulate sand movement in the field. ⺠The overall features of the experimental measurements are reproduced by simulation.
