Abstract
⺠Network reciprocity in structured populations playing 2Ã2 Prisoner's Dilemma games is greater if heterogeneous aspirations are imposed. ⺠We suggest why heterogeneous aspiration fosters network reciprocity. ⺠We find that a negative correlation between degree and aspiration level does extend cooperation among heterogeneously structured agents.
